Pastor Matthew Tate holds a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from York College of Pennsylvania.  He is a firm believer in the call of the Gospel to both be personally transformed by the grace of God so that we may partner with God in the transformation of the world.  In addition to his leadership of Emmanuel, Pastor Matthew has worked with the United Methodist Women’s Mission U school, and currently serves as co-president of the Calvert Interfaith Council.  A native of St. Mary’s County, Pastor Matthew made the move across the river to Calvert County, where he lives with his wife, Danielle, and their two children, Amelia and Simon.  If you would like to contact Pastor Mathew, you can contact the church office of email him at matthewptate@gmail.com
