First Time?

We offer two services every Sunday morning: 8:30 and 10:00 am.

Both services are traditional in nature, meaning that the music will be hymns coming from The United Methodist Hymnal or The Faith We Sing.

Our choir performs twice a month during the 10:00 service.  Their selections vary from traditional hymns to spirituals to contemporary music.

There is no dress code at Emmanuel UMC.  Within our congregation, you will see some in suits and other in jeans or shorts.

Children are invited to fully participate in the life of the Church.  As such, we offer a variety of options for parents and children.

Nursery: We have a nursery in our Education Building.  If you would like your child in the nursery, please notify one of the ushers.

Prayground: In the rear of our sanctuary is our prayground.  This is a quiet recreation area where young children can play, and parents can sit with them without having to miss the service.

Sunday School: We offer Sunday School to all elementary school children.  If you would like your child to participate in Sunday School, please notify one of the ushers.

As United Methodists, we regularly celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion.  We believe in an open table.  You do not need to be a member of Emmanuel, The United Methodist Church, or any church to partake.  We only ask that you come with an open to heart to encounter Christ at the table.

We celebrate by intinction, where you will be given a piece of the bread and invited to dip it into the cup (Grape Juice).  We also offer gluten free options for those who need to receive in that way.

Our 8:30 service celebrates Communion every Sunday.  All are invited to come forward and kneel at the Communion rail to receive.

Our 10:00 service celebrates Communion on the first Sunday of every month and occasional special Sundays.  All are invited to come forward to receive, with the option of kneeling at the altar after you receive.
